Nevada County Releases Draft 2027–2035 Housing Element

Nevada County has released its draft Housing Element, outlining plans to address housing needs, expand housing opportunities, and identify barriers to residential development in unincorporated areas of the county.

The plan is especially relevant to efforts to increase affordable housing and explore a wider range of housing options for residents with limited incomes.

Public comments are due November 4, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
